政策新规:Salt Lake County 有免费的wifi, 到图书馆登记,可以回家免费使用45天

Wi-Fi Hotspots available for checkout at Salt Lake County Public Libraries:

The Salt Lake County Public Library now has around 250 wi-fi hotspots available at branches across Salt Lake Valley. The hotspots are not visible through the online catalog search, but here is how patrons can check one out:

  • Patrons can put a hold on a hotspot by calling or visiting a County library branch in-person. If a hotspot is available when the patron visits in-person, they can check it out.
  • Hotspots must be checked out with an adult library card, since the replacement cost is high.
  • The check-out period is 45 days, which is longer than a normal checkout period. If they aren’t returned on time, library staff will disable the hotspot remotely.

For more information, contact the Salt Lake County Library by calling (801) 943-4636 during library hours or visiting https://www.slcolibrary.org/information/forms/contact-customer-service.
